Martin delivered foam for Dunlop for seven years. And after delivering foam to major mattress manufacturers and having an understanding of the manufacturing of mattresses, Martin and Kim bought a mattress franchise in 2007. Spending much of his spare time delivering mattresses and spending time in the factory manufacturing.

Having a passion for the industry, and recognising the necessity of supplying his customers with the best mattresses suitable to sleeping needs, Martin and Kim decided to go their own way in May 2009 and manufacture their own mattresses after two years as a franchise.

With the help of their factory Manager, who has been manufacturing mattresses for over 23 years, Mattresses Direct only use the best quality foam from Dunlop, which means that they only manufacture superior quality mattresses. The real benefit is the customer gets the best value for money.

Martin and Kim are the owners of the business, which means as a customer you are constantly getting the best advice and personal service from the time you walk in the door to receiving your mattress, which is delivered by Martin personally.
